1953 UAB Biržų duona started its activities. At that time, the bakery was called „Biržų pramkombinatu“ and belonged to the Union of Biržai County Consumer Cooperatives. During this period, the bakery was equipped with 3 hose ovens, which were fired with firewood and diesel fuel. There were 30-35 employees and 2-3 tons of production per day, most of which was baked goods.
